Land Use Permit Application Overview

On June 11, 2025, Koch Methanol submitted a Land Use Application to the St. James Parish Permitting and Planning office for the Optimization Project and Backup Oxygen Supply Project. The Parish Planning Commission approved the project on June 30, 2025, and recommended the Project to be reviewed and approved by the Parish Council. On August 6, 2025, the Parish Council unanimously approved the Project.
